For padel and tennis clubs in Figueira da Foz

Court booking and open games for padel and tennis clubs

Players see which courts are free, book and pay online, and find partners for an open game. The desk keeps one calendar for online and phone bookings, with member prices and reminders built in.

Two problems

Courts are booked by phone

Whoever answers is also running the counter. Bookings end up in a paper book or a spreadsheet, and players have to call to find out what is free.

Solo players cannot find partners

Padel needs four. A player with an evening free and nobody to play with stays at home — and the court stays empty.

What it does

Court calendar

One day view with every court side by side. Phone bookings, online bookings and blocked time (classes, tournaments, maintenance) in one place; two bookings on the same court at the same time are marked in red.

Online booking and payment

Each club gets its own page. Players pick a day, a court and a time and pay by card; the money goes to the club's own Stripe account. Without card payments switched on, they book and pay at the club.

Open game matching

When booking, a player can mark the game as open — "looking for 3 more, level 3 to 4". Other players see it on the club page and join with one tap. Everyone is emailed when the game is full.

Member pricing

Set a member price per court. A player whose email is on the club's member list, with a membership that has not lapsed, pays the member price automatically.

Reminders

Players get a confirmation when they book and a reminder the day before, with the court, the time and the club's phone number. Players in an open game get one too.

Works on the phone at the desk

The desk runs in the browser on a phone, a tablet or the counter computer, and keeps working offline. Sign in on each device and they stay in step; a booking taken on one shows on the others straight away.

How a club starts

  1. Set up the club on the desk: opening hours, courts and their prices. It takes a few minutes and needs no account.
  2. Add your members and their membership end dates, so they pay the member price online.
  3. Create an account and publish your club page. Share the link on your social pages and at the counter.
  4. Take phone bookings on the desk as before — players who book online appear on the same calendar.

Questions

Do players need an account?

To book or join a game, yes — a free one, with email or Google. It is how the club knows who is coming and how the reminder reaches them. Looking at free courts and open games needs no account.

Who receives the money for a booking?

The club. Card payments go to the club's own Stripe account; bookpadel never holds them. A cancellation inside the club's cancellation window is refunded automatically.

What happens to phone bookings?

They go on the same calendar. A court booked by phone is not offered online, and a court booked online shows on the desk with the player's name and phone.

Is it only for padel?

No. Each court is padel or tennis, with its own price. Open games work for both.

Can I try it before talking to anyone?

Yes. The club desk works in your browser without an account. What you set up stays on that device, and moves into your account if you create one later.
